Ok this week was somewhat ordinary. Monday was supposed to be the kids' first day return to school after the two week break, but it turned out it was teachers' only day. They remained home for what was a quiet afternoon. Moving on to Tuesday, it was a pleasant break for me when the kids and K had gone to school and work, respectively. I had the house to myself. Though, I did spend the first half of the free time sleeping as that morning, I woke up very early to prepare breakfast and lunch for school. I felt I had a zen moment for the first time since the school holidays.
WEdnesday and Thursday were similar to Tuesday, in regard to the activities that were performed. Got up early and made breakfast and lunches for the kids, with me going to sleep immediately after the kids were off to school. Spent the afternoon either watching the tv or playing on the computer. Felt decrepitated and lonely actually after having done absolutely nothing in terms of productivity.
Firday was obviously the day in which K received her laptop. SHe had been overzealous about the laptop, waiting for the last week. She couldn't stop talking on the late delivery. Of course as I had previous posted a writing about it, she finally got it yesterday. She had the whole time installing and downloading stuff for the new item. The day was ordinary, with nothing to report apart from the laptop.
Today was same in this regard. Jord went to this Maths lesson for the first time. The maths tutorial was the douche bag's idea initially when he was told by this other person whose child is in the tutorial as well and is performing well in school, as a result of it. This revelation had led the douche bag to want to become the superdad that he never was and forced this already stressful child into another class that he doesn't really need. Anyway, K was just following some instructions and she wasn't Jord's parent to overrule this ridiculous idealogy. Despite my and K's disapproval, Jord went anyway. To my astonishment, he liked the class because apparently he is very good at the activities that they were offering to him. He even said the teacher had told him he was the fastest performer in the class (later K had told me he is infact the youngest in there and therefore his activities were more lower level than others). It was all good hearing about his enjoyment, even though I initially assumed he wasn't going to like it.
I want to talk more the extra curricullums that the douche bag is pushing the children to do. Jord has Chinese class, in which he is desperately struggling with, and he of course has the everyday schooling that he is not, in the least, coping. Of course being the good Chinese man that he is, he is making the kid succeeding in life by stuffing work after work without ever thought of his actions would potentially make the child insane. He doesn't know it but he is trying to kill the child... ALIVE!
Anyway, through the day, Ju went to her Chinese class, and Jord was supposedly going after his sister's class had finished. Since the other child that was meant to turn up with him didn't show when was instructed, his class was cancelled, much to Jord's amazement. Ju did her Mathletics after her shower, and the rest of the day had joined the boring outline that most Saturdays ordinarily see.
