Episode 5 Of Survivor

This is a disappointing episode for me. The evictee is somebody I wanted to win- TOm. I am just hoping that Colby can stay longer for the duration of the premerge so that I can at least watch the show without feeling angry at the heroes tribe. He is the sole castaway on that team for me to root for in the challenges as the other tribe consists of mostly people I don't particular like watching in their respective seasons.

Yes, even though I already know who the winner is by the leaked boot list, I still am interested in the show. I still want to believe that the list could be wrong somehow despite the correct predictions of the first five eliminations. I, once, was told by my schoolmate that I am pathetic in that regard because I should have learned of the boots as it would lessen the fun when I watch it. I have to agree but I couldn't help myself when the title of the leaked page said spoiler and my hand couldn't resist the temptation to find out.

Survivor Ep 04

I am so glad to see Cirie gone. No offence to her, I have always felt that she was overrated. Sure she's done some great mastermind works in her previous seasons, but the sure fact remains she was playing with some of the idiotic characters. Besides, her audacious smile or laugh makes me want to kill myself at times. Yes, i am just like the moody old man.

Another thing that I enjoyed from the episode was the mere fact Tom and Colby are looking more and more safe within their tribe. I am hoping they can make it to the end, then one of them can win the grand price. Great episode of the season yet for me.

Survivor HvV e03

Oh shoot. Randy's gone, which means that the list of the booted players and winner is true. That would make me hate the season because I don't like the play who will eventuate the winning. That sucks.

I was saddened to see the old fella leave the game. In his previews, he was acknowledging his advantage going into the game, which was he was no threat to anybody, and he further told us that his strategy would be going under the radar to capitalise on the fact that the villains would want to traget more threatening players. I thought what he said was spot on and, seeing how he could mesh with the tribemates of Gabon, it looked like he was one of those people you could bet to make far into the game. Apparently it just wasn't so.

In his after the boot interviews, Randy revealed that the fact he wasn't in the main clique which was his downfall. He went on to elaborate that the girls on his tribe were connecting with him, so they were targeting him mostly for this reason, other than the implications left by the editors to suggest he left for his agile physicality. I was bummed to learn about his elimination, more so becasue the leaked bootlist didn't seem to be true.

Survivor HvV e02

Just watched the second episode of the show on Youtube, and I am really disappointed at the outcome the ending had to offer. Stpehenie is the evictee of the night, and in my personal view, she didn't deserve to go this early.

Anyway, because of her elimination, I have a feeling the sneaked list showing the winner is true. It had Steph as their second person to leave, which it got right. I'll see if they will get another right, to safely say the list is indeed an actual bootlist. If it is true, I'm not going to like this season at all.

First Episode of Survivor HvV

The evictee is Sugar. Poor her for being the first one to get voted off. It is obviously the feeling all Survivors dread the most when they get on the show. For one, it's humiliating to be kicked out first. For another, your family and friends would constantly tease you about it. For Sugar, she had to face the thrilling of people who was on her initial season who hated her, would use this to strengthen their cases for not liking her. All well, atleast she tried.

Anyway, I read somewhere showing the leaks of the eventual winner. It also revealed the boot order from the first eliminated survivor to the winner. Sugar, being the first person who got kicked off, had validated the leaksfor me. It had Sugar as their the first boot, which they got right. I wanted to not believe it because it would mean the winner will be somebody I don't like. I want to see if the next boot is right, so then I will know for sure the leaks are confirmed.

Survivor All-Stars II

Before we get to the latest edition of the popular reality show "Survivor", I want to make a few comments on the previous season. As the finale had showed, the winner of that season was the so called dumbass girl, Natalie. She beat the villain of all villains Russ in 7-2 victory at the final tribal coucil. My thought was it was spot on. I felt like she deserved it more because she was indeed playing a very socail and effective game to earn the title. Other people, however, did not feel the mutual sentiment. They ranted about the robbering of Russ' game. He was manipulative and devious in many ways, evident by the sock burning, the backstabbing, etc. Some of these nastiness weren't neccessary, and he should have toned down his condescending ways to get some votes. I wouldn't want to vote for him anyway for these reasons. It was just that his meanness outweighed the thought process to even comtemplate rewarding the title. I think the jurors made the right decision.

Now, onto the new edition of the franchise- Survivor 20. The contestants will be consisting of past players, with nine of whom are three time players. My thought about the cast is somewhat good. I didn't want to see people from later editions because it is too recent for me. However, with the cast like this I think it will a good season to watch.

The person I will bet to win for this season is Candice. My prediction is based on past experiences. On the first all star season, the girl whom most people didn't think deserved to get a second chance won that season. On Micronesia, a similar fate happened. So I think Candice, being that one undeserving second chance player and have some social and physical qualities in her, is going to reinforce that feat of female winners on all star editions.

THis is just the first thought from me about the season. There wil be more posts as the season premiers and porgresses. See if I'm right.

Survivor Samoa Episode 8

Another week's gone, another episode of Survivor had come. It's another disappointment with Erik's elimination. Seriously, what is the matter with the show this season. The predictibility is killing me. I'm seeing the mean girl alliance will dominate this season. It would be a enormous blowout if one of them wins.

I swear to you I will stop watching it. From this episode onward. Unlike last week- promise.

Survivor Episode 7

Liz is gone.

Yeap, the person whom I predicted earlier in the season is now eliminated from the show. I will have some lose sleeps these few days. Nonetheless, I will recover.

So who will I root for the remainer of the season? Since my other castaway I made a winning prediction, along with Liz, was also eliminated early as well, I guess I don't feel like watching the show anymore. I mean, there are no interesting characters left in the show for me to feel emotionally connected to, hence not wanting to root for them. The lackluster cast this season is not making the viewer wanting to continue to watch the show.

THe producers will desperately need to cast better contestants in the future if they ever want back viewerships. I guess they will try again in season 21 since it will another All-Star season following this one. Until then, they just lost one more viewer in me.

Episode 7 Elimination Prediction

Tomorow's another survivor day, so I figure I'd do a post on who I think will be eliminated next.

The obvious picks for either tribes are Liz from Foa Foa, and Shambo from Galu.

Liz is targeted because she is deemed more threatening than Natalie who is in an alliance with Russell, who has been pretty much vocal in the people he wants out. Liz could be his next victim, if she doesn't try to out him and gather Mick or Jaison to target him. This is, however, very unlikely because the fellas seem to be tight and won't vote for each other. This will take a radical shift in their thinking if she could break apart the guys. Natalie, for that matter- try to get her and see to her that Russell is an untrustworthy man. But this will not be the case since last episode, the girls had their next votes already written in concrete based in the line of voting for each other.

Shambo, on the other, is actually looking up slightly, though not far away from being voted off. I say that because she, now, for many weeks of being on the bottom of Galu's totem pole, is actually looking to improve in her position. She seems like she is now on the outskirt of a dominant guy alliance which is good for her time being. She will only have to hang onto the alliance until the merge comes, then she can flip to Foa Foa and make a final four deal with them. The only way she could be gone this week is the guys don't trust her enough, thinking she would flip if she was to be kept until the merge. But, with all the editing, I get the feeling she'll avoid the next vote and perhaps make it to the merge with the boys' help.

Another likely evictee on Galu is Monica. She is deemed weak by the guys on her tribe and is linked to the growing girl alliance which will worry the guy aliance in the future. THey guys, especially, John who wants her out to weaken the girls abit.

So, in conclusion, I get the feeling that Monica will be gone and Foa FOa will somehow pull a victory in the immunity challenge. It will spare my fav, Liz, another week.

Survivor Samoa Episode 6

I live in New Zealand so the show Survivor Samoa hasn't aired here yet. However, I was able to watch it on youtube.

Anyway, I was watching the episode 6 this week, where one of the castaways was evacuated due to medical reasons. It was a boring episode being mainly that there wasn't an elimination by vote and the drama was repetitive. By not having the vote at the end of the episode was anti-climactic and that it was very dull as the scheming that took place prior in the episode was due for nothing. I guess the producers wanted to have something new added to the show. From a fanatic fan as I am, I wasn't pulled in by it. Sorry.

From now on, I will rank the castaways on how I think they are placed in the game position.

FOA FOA

1. Mick- he was the only one in Foa Foa that no one seemed to target. At least, he will make it past the next few votes.

2. Russell H.- being that he was the only castaway in the episode that never complained about the bad weather condition, and that he was perceived by the tribe as a valuable player in the challenges and providing them, he is likely to be targeted in the next vote.

3. Jaison- being a physical player in a losing tribe only means you will meant around for your strength. However, Jaison seems like his heart is giving in, so I'm taking it as a sign that he will either be eliminated

4. Natalie- She seems to be in the better position of the two girls remaining. As Russell who is her ally, I think she might squeaked in for another vote.

5. Liz- I like Liz a lot and I hope she will do well. However, with Russell targeting her, it is not a surprise if she goes home next week. Moreover, she needs to convince Mick and Jaison to oust either Natalie or Russell but preferably Russell if she could pull the string this way.

GALU
With the majority of the tribe we haven't yet met, it is very hard to decipher who these people are. Only Erik, Dave and Shambo, the remaining Galuvians I know about, I can't make judgements on the others but presumably they have a clique going, hence the 90210. I think only Monica and Shambo are in trouble from this pack. I'm guessing Shambo will be the first lamb to the slaughter house, sadly.

So as you can see, the people in trouble are Liz, Natalie from Foa Foa and MOnica and Shambo from Galu.

PErsonally, the season has been sucking. The cast is the fault here, I would say. There aren't many players around and most of them are either obnoxious or invisible. I hate to say it- the season isn't looking up either if the whole FOa Foa is decimated to merge and they'll be picked off one by one.
